pajangan villa
The site is pocket-shaped, widening toward the back, and bordered by a river on the eastern edge. To the north lies a mountain view. The existing condition includes a “joglo” pavilion, which is retained and reused as an open space and restaurant area.
In the master plan, the hotel is divided into three parts: the joglo as an open communal space, the hotel as a mid-rise four-storey building, and a series of private villas rotated 45 degrees to maintain privacy between units facing each other. At the center of the villa area, rice fields are preserved as the main view, connected by a corridor of calm, flowing water that runs from the entrance toward the fields, greeting the sunrise along the way.
The resort aspires to become a wellness retreat that brings guests closer to nature, expressed through poetic voids filled with light, water, and landscape.
